The Collier Bees and Butterflies Project
Help us to create
Here at Collier Turf Care, we are on a mission
Since the 1980’s, approximately 33% of British wild bee species have declined1, and 80% of butterfly species have declined since the 1970’s2.
We wanted to change that
To help create some small pockets of wildflower grass land for our bees and butterflies, Collier Turf Care gave away 10,000 sq.m worth of Bees and Butterflies wildflower grass seed.
There were 200 x 250g packs of seed available with each bag covering 50 sq.m.
Each bag is made up of a 80/20 mix (80% Grass Seed and 20% Wildflower seed) containing 32 different wildflower species specifically for Bees and Butterflies.
Entries for 2024 have now closed - thank you to everyone who applied!
