Clayton Bestow has been withdrawn from sale and distribution. You have until 30th June 2024 for the disposal, storage and use of existing stock.

Clayton Bestow is a fungicidal mixture having both contact and systemic properties and is recommended for the control of certain diseases of in established turf and amenity grass e.g. golf courses and other sports areas, parks and lawns including commercial and residential areas.

Fusarium patch (Microdochium nivale)
Red Thread (Laetisaria fuciformis)

Symptoms Small spots of bleached turf will appear on close mown turfgrass. Some of the spots may join together to sorm large areas of affected turf. White mycelium may be present on affected areas on dew mornings
Grass Species that are susceptible Bentgrass, annual meadow-grass and fescue
When does it appear? Will appear in the summer and autumn
Turf condition Surface wetness and low fertility

Usage:
Preferably treat when disease is expected to occur, alternatively treat as soon as disease is seen. Up to two applications may be made in any one year. A repeat application should not be made within 28 days of the first application. However avoid consecutive application of Clayton Bestow; instead if further treatments are necessary, follow with an alternative fungicide having a different mode of action, before using Clayton Bestow again. A reduction of Anthracnose (Colletotrichum graminicola), Leaf spot (Drechslera spp.) and Rust (Puccinia spp.) may be gained coincidentally following an application of Clayton Bestow.
