The Leatherjacket Total Approach Pack provides turf managers with a comprehensive one-box solution to tackle the damaging pest on turf surfaces. The fully integrated approach will optimise the potential of chemical, biocontrol and cultural measures. The pack includes Acelepryn insecticide and Syngenta NemaTrident beneficial nematodes, along with NemaSpreader designed to enhance nematode efficacy. The one-hectare pack also includes a set of Syngenta XC Soil Nozzles to optimise all applications of Acelepryn and NemaTrident.

The LTAP pack includes:

  • 1 x 0.6L Acelepryn
  • 5 x 500m NemaTrident F
  • 1 x 5L NemaSpreader
  • 13 x White XC 08 nozzles

The pack provides sufficient coverage for 1 hectare and enables effective management of Leatherjackets by integrating both chemical and biological approaches.

We recommend applying Acelepryn between mid and late October, followed by NemaTrident within 7 days to optimise results.

As NemaTrident is a biological product, customers should follow specific guidelines for storage, mixing, and application to ensure maximum efficacy.

Detailed instructions on getting the best from NemaTrident plus NemaSpreader can be found on this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ombGH1V93KA

  • How to Use

    1. Refrigerate NemaTrident F bags at 4-7°C as soon as they arrive. Leave air space between bags if possible – baskets or racks will help.
    2. Check weather conditions to plan applications as soon as possible following delivery of both boxes.
    3. Fit the XC 08 Soil Nozzles to your sprayer in preparation.
    4. Apply Acelepryn as described in attached the ‘7-point plan’ for optimum results.
    5. Within 7 days following your Acelepryn application, apply NemaTrident & NemaSpreader as per the ‘NemaTrident F Instructions for use’.
    6. Irrigate surfaces immediately post NemaTrident application, to help move nematodes into the soil.
    7. Keep soil moisture raised for the following few weeks to aid nematode movement and keep pests high in the soil profile.
